The majority of travel into and out of Cape Town is done by air.
Cape Town International Airport offers direct flights to a number of centres in Africa, Asia and Europe but the bulk of international carriers fly into Johannesburg. Cape Town is a two-hour domestic flight from Johannesburg and on average there are flights every half hour between the two cities with a variety of domestic carriers.
Many international airlines fly to Cape Town such as Air Mauritius, British Airways, Qatar Airways, Air Namibia, Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, Ethiopian Airlines, KLM, Kenya Airways, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines and South African Airways. More information can be found here
