ISQua provides Affiliated Membership as a special category of Institutional Membership for Associations and Societies whose main aim is to improve safety and quality in health care.

ISQua initiated this option from the beginning of 2006 when the Society was approached by the board of a national association for quality and safety which was keen to provide added value to the annual package of benefits for all of its members.

The main features are:
For a fee to ISQua of only €7 per member per year, the organisation can provide electronic access to ISQua’s Journal, the International Journal for Quality in Health Care, to al of its members through a link from the organisation’s own website which is restricted to current members.

All current members of the organisation being entitled to register at member rates, for any ISQua activities, including the annual conference.

The feedback has been excellent as the association’s members can now access and international peer reviewed journal on safety and quality, a wider network of links with quality healthcare leaders, and also directly benefit from lower conference registration fees.

To enter into this arrangement, a national organisation must first be an Institutional Member of ISQua.  The fee for 2009 is €1,000.  ISQua functions on a calendar year and fees are increased by a small amount each year.

Payment arrangements would be as follows:
Payment of €7 per member being made to ISQua based on the number of financial members of the organisation as of 31 December.

Quarterly reports of additional financial members to be forwarded to the ISQua office at end March, end June, end September.

Payment on additional financial members each quarter will be pro rata of full calendar year, that is, end March members 75%, June 50%, September 25%.

Payment for the following financial year will be based on the number of financial members as of 31 December
