ISQua is committed to enhancing healthcare quality and safety, particularly through education and training. The education activities, in particular the International Conference, Fellowship Programme and the International Journal for Quality in Health Care are the principal means through which ISQua seeks to achieve this goal. These activities are organised regionally with the Conference being held in different parts of the world each year and with education being wholly on-line, relying on ten global partners and with a Dublin base and Regional hubs in Australia, Taiwan, Japan and soon to be elsewhere. We have a particular interest in low and middle income countries.
We draw on expertise of our extensive global network to deliver relevant and quality advice and skills training. Alongside partners such as WHO and URC and in collaboration with public and private sector national and local groups we arrange scientific Regional meetings and workshops where training in safety and quality issues can be delivered.
Our intention is to leave a lasting legacy and, in that regard, we interconnect various events to maximise the effectiveness of what we do.
