Dr Lee presented the results of a study conducted by Press Ganey Inc. on patient feedback and attitudes towards healthcare staff during the pandemic. We also heard how our systems are evolving to become more resilient through this experience, and how we can be more prepared next time.

About the presenters
Dr. Thomas Lee is an internist who practices at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a Professor of Medicine, part time, at Harvard Medical School, and Chief Medical Officer to Press Ganey, Inc. Dr. Lee is Editor-in-Chief of NEJM Catalyst, a member of the Editorial Board of The New England Journal of Medicine, the Board of Directors of Geisinger Health System, the Board of Overseers of Weill Cornell Medical College; the Special Medical Advisory Group (SMAG) of the Veterans Administration; and the Panel of Health Advisors of the Congressional Budget Office. He received is BA from Harvard College (1975) and his MD from Cornell University Medical College (1979), and then trained in internal medicine and then cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He received a MSc in Epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health in 1987.
