Dr Wu selected for the 2019 Patient Reported Outcomes Measures (PROMs) Career Achievement Prize Featured

Dr Wu is Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with joint appointments in Epidemiology, International Health, and Medicine, and Surgery in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is Director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Services and Outcomes Research (CHSOR), Director of the Masters of Applied Science in Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality, and Editor in Chief of Journal of Patient Safety and Risk Management.

 

The award is named in honour of the Health Assessment Laboratory/Medical Outcomes Trust's founders, Dr John E. Ware, Jr., and Dr Alvin Tarlov - two of the world's leading pioneers in the development and use of patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs).

 

The successful candidate will have made significant contributions to the field of PROMs throughout their career.

 

Dr Wu will receive the prize at ISQua's 36th International Conference in Cape Town, South Africa on October 21, 2019.  Dr Wu will also present a keynote session at the conference.
