The Clinical Excellence Commission (CEC)

The Clinical Excellence Commission (CEC) has a central role in the responsibility for quality and safety in the NSW health system. It was established in 2004 to promote and support improved clinical care, safety and quality across NSW. The CEC is guided by NSW Health values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.

ISQua’s professional development Fellowship Programme conducts a suite of activities for a worldwide ‘classroom’ of healthcare professionals striving to acquire and improve knowledge and skills in order to enhance healthcare outcomes. The Clinical Excellence Commission has joined ISQua in this quest and is conducting exciting, high quality debates, webinars and other offerings which are enriching the ISQua Fellowship Programme. In addition, these activities are held in a more civilized time zone for our Australian, New Zealand and Asian colleagues and friends. The Fellowship participants are eligible for 2 credits points for attending/viewing these activities.
