About the Webinar

The Japan obstetric compensation system for cerebral palsy was launched in 2009 in response to the shortage of obstetrician and snowballing conflict regarding profound cerebral palsy. The system has been operated with 99.8% participation of childbirth facilities. It is comprised of such major functions as no-fault based compensation and peer review/ prophylactic activity. The lawsuit cases in obstetrics and gynecology has been declining in recent years. For prophylaxis, a new textbook on Cardiotocography of profound cerebral palsy case has just been published. It is expected that the system will be more effective in the improvement of obstetric care in Japan.

当機構では、産科医不足や紛争の増加に対応して、2009年に産科医療補償制度の運営を開始しました現在99.8% の分娩機関が参加しています。
