CEO Update July 2017

We are moving to develop networks of members into communities of practice so that learning and knowledge are shared widely.

ISQua is an international society and has members from all continents and from over 70 countries. It is a growing membership with over 450 individual members and over 80 organisations.

Members have several rights that need to be exercised so that the society delivers on its mission. These include the rights to nominate a member for election to the Board, to stand for election and to vote in Board elections. These are important roles that members need to play.

As an international organisation, members need to be represented by an international Board so that the organisation can provide a diverse approach to the challenges and opportunities we face.

You, as members, will have the chance to exercise your vote so that we have a Board which will help to direct the strategy for the next two years. This year there is a change in the election of the President,  in that the new Board will elect the President-Elect after the results are confirmed at the AGM in October.

Remember, if you want to nominate a member or be nominated for Board membership please do this by 28th July as indicated in the article below.

Finally, I hope many of you will be attending the London conference as it promises to be a great meeting. Almost 1200 delegates have registered and we expect many more. Please book your place now and come to contribute to our key event of 2017.
