Launch Your Career in Healthcare Quality & Safety: Introducing the IPQS Foundation Programme
Healthcare today is more complex than ever. Around the world, hospitals and health systems are striving to deliver safer, higher-quality, patient-centred care. But achieving this requires skilled professionals who truly understand how quality improvement works in real clinical settings. That’s exactly why the International Programme in Healthcare Quality & Safety (IPQS) was created.
If you’re an early-career healthcare professional passionate about making systems better and patients safer, this programme could be your gateway to an exciting and impactful career. ISQua have paired with AEONMED and QAI as Knowledge Partners, to support the development of this newly launched programme.
What Makes IPQS Unique?
The IPQS Foundation Programme is not just another online course. It is a 24-week, residency-based hybrid learning experience designed to bridge the gap between theory and real-world practice.
A Truly Immersive Learning Structure
The programme blends three powerful components:
1. Hospital Residency & Virtual Learning (23 weeks)
- Four live, interactive 90-minute classes each weekend
- Expert international faculty
- All sessions recorded for flexible learning
- Hands-on experience embedded in a quality-leading hospital
- Direct exposure to accreditation processes
- Mentorship from experienced quality professionals
- Networking with peers and industry leaders
2. One-Week In-Person Contact Programme (Delhi/NCR)
At the end of the programme, participants come together (virtually for international learners) for:
- Intensive face-to-face workshops
- Capstone project presentations
- Final evaluation
- Certification ceremony
3. Practical Capstone Project
Every learner completes a real quality improvement project in a healthcare setting – not as an academic exercise, but as a genuine contribution to patient care.
Total weekly commitment is approximately 10 hours, alongside full-time residency in your designated hospital.
