No. We welcome anyone dedicated to quality improvement – policy-makers, managers, researchers, patients, and carers included.

Absolutely. You can sign up staff as Individual Members, Individual Members with access to the Fellowship Programme, or access to the Fellowship Programme only.
Students, trainees, and retirees from high-income countries pay just €75 per year.
Guests have limited access to the Community Dashboard and resources.
ISQua Friends* receive all the benefits of Individual Membership (except voting rights) and free access to our Focused Certificate in Patient Safety and Quality Improvement.
Full Members unlock the entire resource library, discounts, and voting rights.
*An ISQua Friends subscription is only available to applicants from Low-Income Countries.
Yes. Members can upgrade anytime to include the Fellowship Programme in their subscription. A reduced fee will apply.
You can make payment securely online via credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) or via bank transfer. If paying by bank transfer please notify ISQua ([email protected]) with the reference number and date of transfer. ISQua is not responsible for any transfer fees or currency exchange fees.

You can edit most of your personal information by logging into your profile and making any necessary changes. Click on the ‘My Account’ option to change details after you have logged in. Please contact [email protected] if you need to make a change to your email address.
Each institutional membership includes one main representative who can add and manage up to six sub-members. These sub-members can access member-only content like the dashboard and People Directory, but do not have voting rights and are not considered full ISQua members unless registered separately.
You can also register staff as individual members (with or without Fellowship) if they need full member benefits like voting rights and conference discounts.
Yes – but they’ll need to be registered separately. To join the Fellowship Programme, a staff member must be:
- Included in a group booking with Fellowship, or
- Registered as an individual member with Fellowship
If they’re only registered for the Fellowship Programme (without membership), they won’t have full member benefits – like voting rights or discounted conference rates. However, they will get access to the International Journal for Quality in Health Care (IJQHC) through your institutional membership.
The most common reason for an existing member having trouble logging in is that their password is incorrect. Please click on the ‘Forgot Your Password’ option on the login page and you will be sent a link to reset your password.
In the login section, there is an option to request a new password: ‘Forgot Password’. Click this and an email should then be sent to the email address attached to your profile with an updated password, along with an activation link.
If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, please check your spam/junk mail. When requesting a new password, please ensure that you use the email address which you originally used to register with.
