ISQua believes that person-centredness is an important aspect of safe, quality health care. The movement towards person-centred care has been gathering pace over the past two decades, and ISQua has a vibrant community who are invested in making person-centred care a core element in healthcare systems worldwide.

ISQua has made person-centred care and coproduction a priority in our educational content, online and in-person events and through our partnerships and collaborations.

We are excited to publish the NEW White Paper Person-Centred Care Systems: from theory to practice

NEW White Paper
Person-Centred Care Systems: From Theory to Practice

In order to make Person-Centred Care an expected standard of care, we will need to systematically redesign legislation, organisation, funding, information systems, education, and research.

This ambitious White Paper aims to answer the most difficult question: how do we embed PCC into our systems and how do we make it the expected norm?

ISQua & WPA Workshop on Person-Centred Care Systems: From Theory to Practice

In April 2023, WPA & ISQua jointly hosted a workshop based on the recently published white paper - 'Person-Centred Care Systems: From Theory to Practice'.

In order to make Person-Centred Care an expected standard of care, we will need to systematically redesign legislation, organisation, funding, information systems, education, and research. This ambitious White Paper aims to answer the most difficult question: how do we embed PCC into our systems, and how do we make it the expected norm?

In this workshop, you will hear from one of the authors of the white paper, Gro Rosvold Berntsen, and from Dr Anuradha Pichumani on how PCC is integrated in health facilities.

You will also hear from leading patient advocates Penney Cowan and Regina Kamoga on what has been patients experience of PCC worldwide and what is the way forward.
