South Africa - COHSASA and Cape Town

In Cape Town and the Western Cape, hospitals will drape orange around their buildings and grounds, and wearing orange ribbons, in honour of World Patient Safety Day.

This will also be promoted by the South African National Department of Health (NDOH).

The Council for Health Service of Southern Africa (COHSASA) have provided the above poster to each of their clients and have a social media campaign planned.

COHSASA's CEO, Jacqui Stewart, is recording a message for World Patient Safety Day with the president and vice president of the Students' Health and Welfare Centres Organisation (SHAWCO).
