I have recently returned from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where I had the honour of being invited to give a presentation on “International impacts of platforms and digital transformation: ISQUA's vision” to CISS 2023 – International Congress of Health Services, arranged by our Brazilian partner ONA, and held at HOSPITALAR 2023, the premier event for networking and development of the healthcare sector in Latin America.

CISS is a highly prestigious Congress that discuss the best national and international experiences in innovation, efficacy, technology, human care and sustainability in both private and public health services.This trade show gathers major health players from over 40 countries, more than 1,000 exhibitions brands, 75,000 professional visitors (50,000 unique visitors) and hosts more than 20 congresses.

It is always a pleasure to meet our institutional members and partners and to learn first-hand about the work they are doing.

I really look forward to 2025, when Sao Paulo will host the annual ISQua Conference. ONA will be our local partner for this event. In addition to attending a great scientific programme, you will also be able to explore the vibrant city of Sao Paulo, renowned for its world-class restaurants and the variety of cultural activities on offer or the forests, beaches, and lively cities of Brazil, so there is every good reason to watch out for our announcements and mark your calendar when the final dates are released.
