Four African organisations are hosting a duo of webinars for World Patient Safety Week.
The first webinar will be held on Tuesday, 14th September from 16:00 - 17:30 GMT on the topic 'What Frontline Workers must know and do?'.
Elom Otchi will present on 'Health System Causes of AEs among Obstetric Clients in a Tertiary Facility in Ghana'. This will be followed by a panel discussion on the experiences and insights from patients, with speakers from Ghana, Kenya and South Africa. The session will close with a presentation by Mary Adam on 'Coping withCovid19: Developing a Rapid-cycle Frontline Quality-improvement in Rural Kenya'.
The second webinar will be held on Thursday, 16th September from 16:00 - 17:30 GMT on the topic 'What Healthcare Leaders must know and do?'.
Lydia Okutoyi will present on 'Improving Medical Error Reporting in Africa: A scoping review'. This will be followed by a panel discussion on the Role of Leadership in Healthcare Institutions to facilitate Quality and Patient Safety, with speakers from Ghana, Kenya, and Sierra Leone.
